Drinking Coffee In Chicago — ULTIMATE CHICAGO TRAVEL GUIDE
Where to have coffee in Chicago?
As some of you might know, I’m a huge coffee lover. In each city I visit, like Chicago for example, I make it a duty to discover new coffee shops. For me, going to a coffee shop is also a synonym for discovering a new area or neighbourhood.
The coffee culture in Chicago is pretty well developed. Just think about Intelligentsia Coffee which was created here, in the Windy City.

Before coming to Chicago, I already knew I had to go to one of their locations, as it is one of my favourite roasters out there. Intelligentsia Coffee has been one of the pioneers of third wave coffee in North America, back when they started 22 years ago. If you’re an espresso lover, you’ll fall in love with their Black Cat Classic Espresso which has fruit and dark chocolate notes. Their pour over are also very good — I usually get one espresso and one pour over because I can’t decide.
